A Proud History
Letterloan farm has been in existence since the late 1800s with at least 5 generations of the Taylor farming the lands around letterloan.
The farm was a mixed business around the turn of the 19th century. Initially starting with just 10 dairy cows in an old briar beside the farm house which still stands to this day.
Over the years as the Taylor family grew so did the dairy business with the herd becoming a fully pedigree Holstein Friesian registered herd around 35 years ago and continuing to grow with the late 80s and 90s.
Today there are a total of 200 cows milked at Letterloan plus followers and youngstock with around 500 Pedigree Holstein Friesian animals being on the farm at any one time.
The Taylor family use their farming experience to provide quality agricultural supplies through Letterloan Agri (formerly ST Agri).
